1 dupeGuru

dupeGuru is a cross-platform (Linux, OS X, Windows) GUI tool to find duplicate files in a system. It’s written mostly in Python 3 and has the peculiarity of using multiple GUI toolkits, all using the same core Python code. On OS X, the UI layer is written in Objective-C and uses Cocoa. On Linux & Windows, it’s written in Python and uses Qt5.

Quick Start: To get you quickly started with dupeGuru, let’s just make a standard scan using default preferences.

1. Launch dupeGuru.
2. Add folders to scan with either drag & drop or the “+” button.
3. Click on Scan.
4. Wait until the scan process is over.
5. Look at every duplicate (The files that are indented) and verify that it is indeed a duplicate to the group’s reference (The file above the duplicate that is not indented and have a disabled mark box).
6. If a file is a false duplicate, select it and click on Actions–>Remove Selected from Results.
7. Once you are sure that there is no false duplicate in your results, click on Edit–>Mark All, and then Actions–>Send Marked to Recycle bin.

That is only a basic scan. There are a lot of tweaking you can do to get different results and several methods of examining and modifying your results. To know about them, just read the rest of this help file.

3 Arknights

3.1 Paradox Simulation: Ceobe

 To silence Sarkaz Casters and Explosive Spiders, the tactic for this mission is to use Ceobe S3. Jessica should be used wisely to kill the drone and obtain the SP booster (which is necessary to charge Ceobe’s skill faster) as well as the timing of Vulcan S1 to keep her alive. Some people can complete this quest using Ceobe S2, but it will be considerably more difficult and require skill mastery, whereas Ceobe S3L7 is sufficient.

 Silence is known for her S2 healing drone. E2 promotion is neccesary for skill mastery (lower cooldown) and drone healing boost.
